Air is emotion – Design Week 2022

The interior design project, made by Elena Pelosi, volves around the concept “Air is emotion”.

In the new showroom, CAPITAL reinterprets the space inviting everybody to slow down. The boundary between outside and inside space is a rarefied setting for a multisensory, fluid and impalpable, light, diffused experience. By involving guests appealing to the five senses, environments and objects speak to one person at a time.

On this occasion, some of the new products from the 2023 collection are presented through a new point of view.

A calm balance of timeless elegance and contemporary taste is the key, expressed through delicate constasts of material and colours and new location for our new products.

Iconic and geometric shapes take center stage, characterized by soft and sinuous lines in this preview of the 2023 collection, available on our website from June 7. In it, you can see new products such as the Augusta chair, Dafne armchair, Adam writing desk, Mirage and Allure collection.

Augusta and Ercole

Augusta is a seat characterized by elegant shapes, the result of a pure and decisive design. The backrest, made up of a double padded shell, creates an alternation of solids and voids, playing with the balance of the elements.

Ercole is designed entirely in marble. The asymmetrical base guarantees stability to the top and combines elements with elementary shapes that enhance the strength of the material. Metal details create a breach between the volumes that characterizes the product with a brave sign.

Founded in 1975, Italamp has built over time its own recognizability in the lighting sector, distinguishing itself for an eclectic proposal of elements of classic and contemporary design and sometimes results of collaborations with international designers. Italamp develops and manufactures entirely in Italy its products, which stand out for their strong personality and for the use of craft techniques that guarantee for each creation the highest quality and uniqueness.

Aria – floor lamp

Aria is a floor lamp that features a modern design thanks to its adjustable arm, which allows the shade to always be positioned at the desired height.
Everything in Aria’s design is designed to convey harmony and serenity: from the ivory-colored fabric shade that diffuses a particularly warm light thanks to its gold interior, to the structure that rests on a solid metal base with a matte black finish.

Universale – Table lamp

Universale is a table lamp designed by Virginia Cei. It is inspired by the shape of a chalice, recalling an ideal toast to the universal nature of love. The element consists of a cylindrical metal base with a matte champagne, matte black or matte bronze finish, topped by a handcrafted carved crystal frame that embraces an inner diffuser made of blown and partly satin-finished glass.
